Picture taken and review written two months after installPros:-Great Price-Looks very nice! Significantly improved the look of our kitchen-Very large. It¡¯s surprising what can fit in there to clean. High chair tray, litter box, mop bucket-Can be under mount or over mount-Comes with grate to put in the bottom of the sink which has been a great built in drying rackCons:-Doesn¡¯t drain as well as I¡¯d like it to, even with a good sprayer. You have to help scrap food down the drain. If you use the grate, then it¡¯s inconvenient to manually use your hand to help it down. This is minor, but still a complaint.

First off, I’d buy this sink again if needed. Fully knowing this was an ‘undermount sink’ I bought this for a basement bar to use in a laminate countertop as a drop-in sink. In the Questions Answered section there was a reply by the manufacturer stating it should be fine for this application. It did fine as a drop-in but as you will see in the photos, the two side edges did not sit perfectly flush with the countertop like the front and back did. I think the insulating coating on the underside of the sink lip is what caused it to sit differently on different sides. If used as an undermount, I dont believe this would have been an issue. I sealed under the sink lip with 100% silicone to seal the sink and prevent water from getting under but I’d sleep easier if it were perfectly flush. One other issue I ran into was that the provided sink drain was VERY deep. With the sink already being 9 inches deep, adding a 4 inch deep sink drain presented an issue with allowing the trap to hook up and properly drain down hill. I had to buy a traditional after-market drain that was half as deep as the one provided (which is a shame because the provided drain and strainer basket would have been awesome for a bar sink). This isn’t necessarily an issue with the manufacturer, but a word of wisdom when installing a deep sink… make sure you have enough room to still hook up your drain. It would have been even worse had I actually used it as an undermount sink since that would have lowered the sink another 1.5-2 inches!Overall the sink and provided accessories are good quality from what i can tell so far. I’m happy with the purchase but a few small thinks (like no insulated coating on the lip of the sink to help with drop-in installation and an option for traditional vs basket drain with purchase) would have made this purchase perfect. If you’re on the fence about purchasing a Leafloat sink, I’d say go for it but make sure a deep sink absolutely fits and there is at least 5 inches below the bottom of the sink to include the provided drain.

OMG…finally finished and moved in to our cottage and we installed this 25″ Ruvati single bowl sink. LOVE IT!! I’ve never had a single sink before but I wanted something that had a bigger area and thought I would try this. The sink came very well packaged and arrived WITH sink clips. Nice stainless finish and love the grate that sits in the bottom. Also like that I was able to get a smaller sink base cabinet and it fit perfectly. We did not use the strainer as we installed a garbage disposal. And I personally prefer the small, white plastic dish drain that I can easily move in/out without removing the sink grate. I would definitely purchase this sink again.

Purchased this after seeing a similar sink at my local hardware store. This sink is a thicker gauge and had a better profile. Purchased at a fraction of the cost of what the hardware store was asking. Plus all the extra goodies that came with it was just the icing on the cake

I was concerned that I would not like this sink because of my prior experiences with stainless sinks: typically noisy, hard to keep clean and not very big. I gave up a triple bowl porcelain sink with my kitchen remodel and I loved the versatility. THIS sink changed all that for me. I love it. It’s big, deep and the lines and angles look great in my kitchen. As others have stated, it arrives beautifully packaged – I’m using the box it came in to store quilts! Large trays fit well, there’s plenty of room to fill big pots, drain big pots and room for a dish drainer and dishpan if you want to hand wash. Why four stars? As others pointed out, the angle is a bit flat to rinse crumbs and food bits into the drain; it ends up using more water than I’d like to get everything into the drain. Also, the included drain cover doesn’t work with a disposal; Ruvati needs to address that. It’s quiet, too, partly because of the included rack, which I love. This sink was a marvelous find for the price, I hope I continue to love it for years to come.

I needed a nice, functional and eye appeasing sink in my newly designed garage. This sink meets all of my needs. I didn’t want a large fiberglass sink because I’ll be mostly washing my hands and dirty rags and it would be an eye sore. The sink arrived with no damage. It was packed to prevent any shipping problems.I am especially thankful to the customer service Ruvati offers its customers. When I received the sink I noticed the mounting clamps were too short. I called Ruvati to explain my problem and they had the longer clamps mailed and in my hands within 3 days. I received them in time for the installers to do their job without disruption.I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy a Ruvati sink again.

Our old enameled cast-iron two bowl undermount sink was falling and it wasn’t worth remounting it — 130 lbs, easy to stain, hard to clean, two bowls were both too small to wash a large pan. Our handyman recommended a single bowl stainless and based on some reviews on line we found this Ruvati, made in the USA. He installed it easily (taking out the old one was the bulk of the work) since it’s an overmount. It’s easier to clean, mostly spraying down and a good run with a brush. The rack in the model is good to hold dishes so water drains below them, and they stay flat instead of tilted to the sink (which grades to the drain). The best part is the large, single bowl — I can wash roasting pans and large fry pans in there without any problems now! Wonderful! In this day and age of dishwashers being more water-efficient, a two bowl sink no longer makes sense. This is the way to go for a modern sink! It also matches our stainless steel appliances.

LOVE this sink. I was looking for an open stainless steel sink and really didn¡¯t want the farmhouse style as I fear that look will be going out soon. I was a little nervous about the quality but so far am pretty impressed. The bottom of sink has bends in it that makes everything go to the drain. I very rarely have to chase any food around to get it to the drain. The bonus was that this model came with the draining caddy that sits on top of the Sink against the front and back counter and the bottom rack that protects the sink bottom from getting scratched up from dishes. It also came with 3 scouring pad/sponges which is why I didn¡¯t give complete 5 rating. You would think that if cleaning devices were included in the purchase thats what your suppose to use for the warranty and it wouldn¡¯t scratch the stainless steel, but it did. Thankfully I only did a small area with it before I noticed what was happening. Don¡¯t use the scouring pad side of the sponge that comes with the sink as it will scratch it up and leave pretty good marks on it. I don¡¯t know what your supposed to use but those aren¡¯t it for sure, unless you don¡¯t care about scratch marks. Other than that I¡¯m thrilled with the sink, but it¡¯s not scratch resistant.

I was overwhelmed with the quality of this sink for the price. I bought it to install under a diy concrete countertop installed over a cabinet fashioned from a vanity. It is to serve as a bar sink in a basement entertainment room. The first thing that amazed me was the packaging! Great detail is taken to protect the sink to including double boxing and placing it in it’s own little cloth “stuff sack”. Next were all the ‘extras’. Most sinks come with the mounting hardware, but not with the strainer plumbing kit. Not only did it come with the undermount sink clips and strainer, but with a wire grate for the bottom of the sink as well as a plastic colander. I thought the plumbing kit would be cheap and I’d have to purchase a different one for quality, but that was not the case. The sink cutout template was accurate. High quality for a hundred less than others I¡¯d found that didn¡¯t include all the extras. Quick shipping too. The only think I had problems with was the undermount sink hardware. It comes with brass anchors which are to be placed in holes you drill. You are then to screw the wing bolts with stopper hexnuts down into the anchors. The instructions gave me a bit size to use for the anchors. The anchor holes ended up being a bit too large. I fixed this by placing some epoxy down into the hole and then putting the anchors with the bolts screwed into them (with some wd40 on them as well) and taped to hold until dry. Worked like a charm and I probably would have used some epoxy anyway. btw – JB Weld works on concrete and metal.
