I bought this for our new coffee bar area and it is better than we anticipated. We wanted a decent sized prep sink and this one feels weighty and looks super sleek. Unexpectedly, I really like all the little extra accessories that came with it. I wouldn’t have purchased those, but now that I have them, they are extremely functional. We don’t have the sink installed as our countertop isn’t ready yet, but I like the sink right out of the box. The packaging was well done, Leafloat did a great job shipping the sink.

My quality of life has improved dramatically after switching to this sink from my worthless double-bowl. Business dealings have gone better, women want me and men want to BE me. After exhaustive research, I found absolutely nothing that compares to the quality and specs of this sink. It’s very deep and the thicker gauge metal keeps the clanking noises to a minimum, which is fantastic because I don’t want to spoil the seductive mood created by my high end kitchen sink. I used two soap dispensers (hand & dish) on the left and right pre-drilled holes and an instant hot water dispenser on the far right. You could mount lasers, the skulls of your enemies or maybe even some oversized pez dispensers.TL;DR – Buy this sink and become a better YOU.

This sink has been in for about a month now and I’m liking it better and better. I had a two bowl Franke in my old home which I loved but this was a smaller kitchen so opted for a single bowl sink.Things I like:I use half of the sink with the grate to dry stuff so I don’t need to use counter space for a drain!The little drain is weird. It’s like a little perforated trash can with handle. There is a separate metal cap to use if you want to fill the sink. Initially thought I would hate this setup but it’s great! So easy to empty and clean.Looks beautiful! I’ve always had an undermount sink before but this is a crisp and stylish edge that adds some pizzazz to my kitchen of Fisher Paykel appliances.What I don’t like:Water does tend to pool at the bottom as other reviewers noted. So I have to really pay attention to rinsing. Not a deal-breaker but that’s why 4 star and not 5.

Size, depth, and shape are perfect. As a former double sinker, I had no idea what it had been missing. I became a convert within the first hour. The best part is the grate. No other sinks that I looked at before choosing the Ruvati had one. The only fault (and it’s slight) is that the bottom is fairly flat. It drains the water to the drain but generally not the solid parts. They have to be sprayed into the drain basket. Overall, well worth the money. The Amazon price was the best one I found, but about $100. The guy that helped me install it liked it so well that he ordered one for himself.

I ordered the Ruvati sink and two days later it was delivered in perfect shape. It was extremely well packed and crated. It hasn’t been installed yet, but I can see it is of fine quality.Weighs 35 lbs — very heavy 16 gauge stainless. Similar sinks from Elkay and Kohler are lighter weight 18 gauge. The Ruvati has a nice brushed stainless finish — shiny, but not high polish. It will match your stainless appliances. This sink also has a huge basin for a 25″ x 22″ top mount.The Ruvati comes pre-drilled with one hole and unfortunately, there are no alternative configurations available. I would like to have been able to order this sink with two holes in an 8″ spread for a bridge mount faucet or without any pre-drilled holes so I could have it custom drilled locally. I called Ruvati to inquire, and the fellow I spoke with wasn’t very interested in my two cents about this¡Anyway, its OK — I found a unique, retro/modern single hole faucet by Jaclo from their Steamvalve line, so I am pleased.The only other thing to mention (that you cannot see in the photo) is that the interior basin has the Ruvati logo prominently etched into the top back wall. Its not unattractive, but if you’re like me and don’t like branding plastered all over everything in your kitchen, this may be one more thing to bug your aesthetic. I’ll learn to live with/ignore it because I have no choice, but if I did, I would tell them to be more discreet with their labeling. But — overall the sink really is perfect for my application. I would recommend it to anyone with limited counter space looking to maximize their basin size.
