This sink is very attractive and useful. It fits perfectly into our outside kitchen.

This sink has been in for about a month now and I’m liking it better and better. I had a two bowl Franke in my old home which I loved but this was a smaller kitchen so opted for a single bowl sink.Things I like:I use half of the sink with the grate to dry stuff so I don’t need to use counter space for a drain! The little drain is weird. It’s like a little perforated trash can with handle. There is a separate metal cap to use if you want to fill the sink. Initially thought I would hate this setup but it’s great! So easy to empty and clean.Looks beautiful! I’ve always had an undermount sink before but this is a crisp and stylish edge that adds some pizzazz to my kitchen of Fisher Paykel appliances. What I don’t like:Water does tend to pool at the bottom as other reviewers noted. So I have to really pay attention to rinsing. Not a deal-breaker but that’s why 4 star and not 5.

I purchased this sink after thorough consideration and return of 2 other sinks that did not work well with our kitchen style. This one was the perfect size, fit and goes well with our kitchen style. The installation was simple, the finished product looks great in my kitchen. It comes with every thing you need to know and the customer care response team is very good in answering questions if you have any. All in all I would give it 4.5 stars. Even after months we continue to get compliments on our sink. The only downside I feel in months of usage is that the basin could’ve been a little more inclined so the extra water collected in corners would percolate with gravity. But it’s a minor con compared to all the compliments we get on it as well as the ease of use with it particularly with the inside basin grill that comes with it. Saves it from a lot of wear and tear and scratches. All in all It is well worth it compared to much pricier items. Thanks.

After researching replacement sinks for months to fit an existing granite cutout, I purchased a Kohler sink, which arrived damaged in spite of substantial packaging. The damage was likely due to the flimsy construction (18 gauge stainless steel). I returned the Kohler sink and purchased the Leafloat RVH8000 and am extremely happy with all aspects of this quality product. I was concerned with the Chinese origin of this product, but was surprised and very pleased with the Leafloat. It is comparable with high-end European sinks. Here are some key attributes which I hope potential purchasers find useful;- Packaging–box within a box with honey comb cardboard, styrofoam and edge protectors, pretty much impervious to shipping damage.- Construction–16 gauge commercial type stainless steel with welded seams, integrated drainage guides- Finish–Brushed satin- Mounting technique–Drop in with perimeter clamps underneath, plumbers putty interior seal, silicone exterior perimeter seal- Ease of installation–Moderate for experienced DIY’erThis sink replaced a rusting cast iron/porcelin unit and is a big upgrade–matches our SS apliances perfectly. The hardest part of my specific installation was enlarging the existing granite cutout to accomodate this large sink. I also upgraded our disposer to the Waste King L8000 at the same time, which will be reviewed separately.

The sink looks great. We dont have issues with water pooling as some reviews mentioned. I think that is only an issue if the counter is not level. I used to own a shipping store and am impressed with the packaging job. My only complaint is that this is sold as a 33×22 sink that can drop into most existing installations. We had another 33×22 inch sink installed with a 20.75″ x 31.5″ hole in a stone counter top. The good news is this sink provides significantly more bowl room once installed. I’ve included pictures of the cutout template with a tape measure provided for this sink. There is no way this fits “most” existing installations. However, the hang up isn’t the sink itself. It is the mounting clips that stick out on all sides. In lieu of recutting the stone, I straightened(bent) all of the mounting clips to hug the bowl and attached wires and tensioners below to anchor the sink. With this modification, it fit into my existing hole. Without modification you need a32.25×21.25″ hole. I think the anchoring system could be re-imagined for the better on this sink to fit more installations, however this is a great sink and I would buy it again knowing I had to make modifications.

I researched a lot of stainless steel sinks. We removed our old cement utility sink in the basement and my wife wanted a large sink to replace it. There are some oversized stainless steel sinks out there but many of them are ridiculously expensive. This sink does the trick. It is big! It is an overmount which allowed me to use a standard formica countertop. The 16guage stainless is beautiful! The packaging was soo impressive. I ordered it from Amazon and was worried about the shipping with UPS throwing the thing around and having it damaged. It was packaged in a heavy duty box (that we still have because my wife thinks we can use it for something else!!) There was foam around the sink and the sink itself was packed in a velvet-like bag. It was like opening a bottle of Crown Royal!!! Leafloat really took all the extra effort to pack this thing well. It was easy to install – there was a template to use for cutting my formica top and it dropped right in. It is a quiet sink. I love my Leafloat stainless steel sink!

We got this for our laundry / utility room. Fits nicely in a 24inch base cabinet. Construction of this sink is very robust and looks good also. I¡¯m thinking of getting another for the workshop.

The sink is remarkable. Before viewing this sink, I had no idea that a sink could ever be described as “stylish”. This one is (-: It’s also very functional as its 10″ depth prevents water splashing back onto the mirrored splashback each time the faucet is turned on which is what was happening with the previous sink. I thought that I was going to toss the bottom grid into the trash as I couldn’t imagine a use for it. But I rarely ever take it out as the sink can be cleaned with the pull-out faucet (a pull-out faucet is necessary if you plan to install this sink or keeping it clean and free of debris would be a hassle). I had to drill a 5th hole as wanted to accomodate a single-hole faucet, a dishwasher airgap, a garbage disposer air switch, a soap dispenser, as well as a smaller faucet for drinking water from the under-sink water filtration system. I used a “stepped” drill bit which made that task much easier. I never received a template and customer service never responded to phone or email messages so I took the cutout measurements given here by a Ruvatti eemployee and used those to cut out a larger hole in my granite sink. These measurements were wrong and I struggled to get the sink into the cutout space and had to re-cut 3/4″ off 3 sides to accomplish this. Awkward and damaged the granite. Aside from this installation problem and one caused by the fact that my sink base cabinet was 3″ too narrow and I had to cut out the side of it and put in position a new cabinet “side” to support the granite overhead, reduce the size of a drawer and a cabinet door. All worth it to have this sink now in place!

This sink was purchased to install a durable sink for washing / rinsing between our patio and mud room. The sink arrives in a well packaged box with heavy duty styrofoam to prevent damaging like dents or edge bents around the edges. The feature I live about this sink are the strainer basket and the included wire drying/ rinsing removable base that fits in the bottom of the sink.

Have not yet installed, but it is solid and looks very well-made. I love the dimensions for my space. It is really efficient. Compared to the sink it’s replacing, I get two more inches of countertop and still have a bit more width on the inside of the bowl.
