Comparing this to the 20gauge sink I bought at homedepot a few months ago is almost a joke. This is the most solid thing I have seen sink related and has a nice hefty weight and cant wait to see it installed in new granite counters next month. The 20 gauge sink from hd is already rusting in some spots after 2 months and cost the same price as this for a 33×22 size. Shouldve gone with this to start with in the first place. Thicker metal = longer lasting sink.

Absolutely beautiful and absolutely affordable sink, it is easy to install and sits flush with the counter. I have a tile countertop so I needed to add a bit of grout to fill in some of the edges as well as silicone. Looks very high-end and brings modernism to any kitchen.Warning: It does water stain easily HOWEVER you can clean it to 100% shine using bartenders aid / polish once a week. I just wipe it down when im done using it and it looks brand new daily.

Awesome heavy duty sink. Arrived packaged very well and in it¡¯s own bag. It dropped into the existing hole that I had with ease. Installed a new commercial grade Delta faucet. The clips used to fasten the sink to the counter top were too short and I had to alter them. This is a deep sink and getting the clips installed was not an easy task. Used a long handled needle nose pliers and long handled screw driver, as the room on the sides of the sink was very limited due to the size of this monster sink. Overall it takes some time to install because of the size issue. That being said, thus is one hell of a too notch sink!!! Oh ya, install your faucet and any accessories before you drop the sink in!!

High quality – very thick. Template was accurate & it looks fabulous in countertop. (Still has tape on recently-cut countertop & faucet yet to be installed.)

4.5 stars – almost perfect with some general issues. Pros – This is a beautiful sink that really upgraded the look and feel of the kitchen sink. It is deep and can fill up a lot of pots and dishes with no problem. The dimensions fits perfectly and replaced our existing sink (dimensions were pretty much spot on). There’s a general slant that allows food material to flow easier to the middle. I never had a grill in any sinks I used before before but I really liked how the food flow under the grill without attaching to the bottom of pots and pans.It also protects the sink bottom from general scratches. The sink itself is pretty heavy weight and does not have any of the typical hollow sound that accompanied some of the cheaper stainless sinks.Cons – Because it is fairly deep, it does cut into the below sink cabinet space. The sink requires pretty frequent cleaning to minimize mold and grime that tend to stick to the corners. The grill also need periodic cleaning as grime tend to stick to the corners. The sink also attracts water spots and does requires a lot more wiping to maintain a clean look.Shipping and packaging was perfect. It arrived on time and was perfectly packaged. No complaints whatsoever.Overall – A friend commented that if she ever had her own place, she’d want a sink just like ours. I’m pretty happy with this sink – minus the extra cleaning required… it exceeded my original expectations. If you’re ok with doing general wipe downs daily and want a stainless steel sink, this is the sink to get.

After researching replacement sinks for months to fit an existing granite cutout, I purchased a Kohler sink, which arrived damaged in spite of substantial packaging. The damage was likely due to the flimsy construction (18 gauge stainless steel). I returned the Kohler sink and purchased the Leafloat RVH8000 and am extremely happy with all aspects of this quality product. I was concerned with the Chinese origin of this product, but was surprised and very pleased with the Leafloat. It is comparable with high-end European sinks. Here are some key attributes which I hope potential purchasers find useful;- Packaging–box within a box with honey comb cardboard, styrofoam and edge protectors, pretty much impervious to shipping damage.- Construction–16 gauge commercial type stainless steel with welded seams, integrated drainage guides- Finish–Brushed satin- Mounting technique–Drop in with perimeter clamps underneath, plumbers putty interior seal, silicone exterior perimeter seal- Ease of installation–Moderate for experienced DIY’erThis sink replaced a rusting cast iron/porcelin unit and is a big upgrade–matches our SS apliances perfectly. The hardest part of my specific installation was enlarging the existing granite cutout to accomodate this large sink. I also upgraded our disposer to the Waste King L8000 at the same time, which will be reviewed separately.

I got this puppy installed yesterday (Sat 3/10/2018) and I have to say it is a beast! I purchased the 33×22 inch model unit and I am very happy I did. This is a great sink but there is some room for improvement. I don’t like the way the provided retaining clips angle into the sink as you tighten them down. In my case the sink fit the hole from my previous sink perfectly but very tightly. It mounted completely flush on either side so there was no possibility of side-to-side movement ergo I left out those clips. I managed to anchor 2 clips in front and back of the sink and I think that would do nicely to keep it stable. A bit of advice to those who purchase this sink….don’t try to fill it up with water. This is a large volume sink and unless you have granite counter tops or some other very hard surface the weight of water in this fully filled sink would crash through the hole mount and damage the plumbing in the sink cabinet. My kitchen is a lower end model with particle board and laminate counter tops. I don’t think mine would be strong enough to support the weight of this sink fully filled with water. It is not really a problem I think because most people would just use it to wash and rinse stuff with the water running and the drain open. I have a dish washer for doing dishes this baby was purchased mostly for my over sized cast iron enameled cookware and my large stainless steel pots. I gave it 4 stars because of the retaining clips issue but don’t let that deter you from buying this baby if you really want it. It is a solid design and they send it very well packaged a secured. It’s very unlikely to get damaged in transit.

This sink has been in for about a month now and I’m liking it better and better. I had a two bowl Franke in my old home which I loved but this was a smaller kitchen so opted for a single bowl sink.Things I like:I use half of the sink with the grate to dry stuff so I don’t need to use counter space for a drain! The little drain is weird. It’s like a little perforated trash can with handle. There is a separate metal cap to use if you want to fill the sink. Initially thought I would hate this setup but it’s great! So easy to empty and clean.Looks beautiful! I’ve always had an undermount sink before but this is a crisp and stylish edge that adds some pizzazz to my kitchen of Fisher Paykel appliances. What I don’t like:Water does tend to pool at the bottom as other reviewers noted. So I have to really pay attention to rinsing. Not a deal-breaker but that’s why 4 star and not 5.
