This sink is very nicely made. The steel is 16 gauge, and overall give it a good amount of mass. The coating on the underside seems to do what they say. The disposer we have attached to it runs as quiet as it did in the Corian sink we had before. (maybe quieter). The cutting board is very nice, and the drying rack has been useful. I’m not sure about the grid in the bottom. It does what it does, but it prevents access to the bottom for cleaning it, and getting debris down the disposer. I would rather squeegee it every once in a while instead of using the sprayer to try to get everything down the drain. Then cleaning the grid itself is another thing we never had to do.So this is a great sink. The recessed edge for the cutting board, and drying rack is useful, and there are more accessories that drop right in as well. The grid could easily have been replaced with something more useful, but I”m not complaining. This sink would be far more expensive if we bought it locally.

My son worked in restaurants a few years ago and when the hot water dispenser in one whole at my kitchen sink stopped working (and the replacement would have cost hundreds and we rarely even used the thing), so he suggested this. They¡¯d apparently had one at the restaurant and he found it handy. It¡¯s so-so about milk at the bottom of glasses, but I found if it put a little water in the for a few minutes, this does the rest. I do have some glasses that are a bit wide at the brim that don¡¯t fit on this, so I¡¯m going to need some slightly narrower ones at some point. I¡¯m really glad I for the metal one (although, the lid is still plastic but seems well-made).

I worked in the kitchen of a famous gourmet restaurant for 6 summers while attending high school & undergrad college. Started out as a dishwasher & spent the last 2 summers as a sous chef for the amazing head chef. The workstation concept is brilliant! I prepped more veggies, meats, seafood, etc. in 6 summers than most people will ever prep in their entire lives. We used to grab a cutting board & a sharp knife, find some open counter space, chop away, put everything in plastic or stainless steel bins & then carry all the “remains” to the stockpot for making broth or the garbage can (no composting back in the 1980s). And then we’d have to carry the cutting board to the sink & clean & sanitize the countertop. If the kitchen I worked in had a few of these instead we would have been much more efficient & kitchen accidents would have been less likely to happen! It’s also made of high quality stainless steel & is “heavier” than any residential stainless steel sink I’ve ever used. The cheap double basin stainless steel sink I remove so this one could be installed was made of cheap stainless steel & used to vibrate like crazy when we used the disposal. Our new Leafloat sink only has one basin/drain & I installed the exact same disposal in it. It’s so quiet now you can hardly hear it running! The colander, cutting board & roll-up dish drying rack are awesome too!

I LOVE this glass cleaner so much! I was very excited to received this because ever since I was young I¡¯ve looked forward to the days of having one of these.Installation is easy and straight forward. You disconnect your existing water line and add the included t-adapter. Once that is done you run the line up to the accessory hole in your sink. Some sinks have spray faucet or soap dispenser here.Attach the water line to the black termination adapter And feed the other end through the hole. Then attach the top piece and tighten each joint.Installation took me all of 30 minutes since I already had the know-how and the tools necessary and in no time I was blasting glasses away!I¡¯m very excited to show all my friends!
